Dance to Life
Dance.
It is
What we do.
Life of Movement--
Motion is the sign that we are alive,
Waltzing to the pulse of the universe.
With our breaths we
are extant.
Moving
We
Are
what we
always are.
We are dancing
To the very intricate dance of life.
I enjoyed reading your poem. And I love that it's centered, thus creating a (perhaps) unintentional shape. I can almost see the form of a couple in the midst of waltz you wrote about outlined by the shape of your poem...
ReplyDeleteI don't normally try for shapes in my poem, but this one worked out well. Glad you liked it,
