If I do a short form for my prompt I feel I do a disservice to my readers, Dear Readers. So, I am giving you 2 for 1. First an acrostic poem that uses the letters in the word CLOUD, each letter starts a new sentence. And then for dessert, a haiku.
Poetry Prompt: Acrostic poem and a Haiku
From MorgueFile |
When I was Young, (I Would Cloud Gaze)
Clearly the skies are
Lazy as they stretch
Out and across and
Under the Sapphire Blues
Daring my imagination to
See the endless possibilities
~~~~~~~
Cloud Dreams
Little floating puffs
dancing along stray breezes--
Secret lives of clouds.
