Sailor's Dreams

What if it was all in her head
What if it was all in her head
The delicious dream of sailing on the stormy seas
The delicious dream of sailing on the stormy seas
The dream of sailing in her head, what if
on the stormy seas, it was all delicious.

As she lays supine amongst the daisies
As she lays supine amongst the daisies
In another dimension, dreaming of sailor's stories
In another dimension, dreaming of sailor's stories
She lays supine as in another dimension dreaming,
sailor's stories of amongst the daisies.

There is a shipwreck riding fast against the waves
There is a shipwreck riding fast against the waves
At the mercy of her own wild imagination's creation
At the mercy of her own wild imagination's creation
Against the waves, there riding of her own imagination
a mercy is fast at the shipwreck's creation.

At a shipwreck of her own creation, riding the waves--
wild's imagination is sailing on the stormy seas.
In another dream of sailor's stories all in her head,
as amongst the supine mercy there was it,
the fast dreaming of delicious daisies.
What if she lays against the dimension?

  3. Wow!! Fantastic poem, a great paradelle. I stuck to tanka this time, paradelle was too much for me!

  4. I really liked this -- of course, the connection with the sea always draws me, but here you spin this tale from the photo prompt. Nice! All the images connect with cross-currents, well worth another read.
