OctPoWriMo Day #14 - Free Verse

Today's post is on time and a little  ditty about how I felt at work. Not too complicated, but I think plenty of people have felt this way. The only thing I ultimately blame on my mood is the large lunch/dinner. Post food, sleepiness. Enjoy!

Day #14 - (Free Verse)

The Moment

Feeling tired,

The clock  keeps ticking,

And I am still here.

I shouldn’t be surprised,

Every time I turn,

I see the clock,

Ticking.

Time seems to stand still.

This is the fear,

That I will always be here,

Stuck,

Always  watching the clock,

Waiting

For the moment

I can leave.
