A Kyrielle Sonnet: River's Edge

River's Edge

When the waters run clear, My Dear--
From the Blog Corning NY Step by Step
Upon the early dawn's frontier
We walk the worldly view anew
in the crisp of the autumnal queue.

Moments with you by the river--
Sometimes it is known that you were
years before learning what you knew
in the crisp of the autumnal queue.

Stay here upon the river's edge
We can devote a solemn pledge
in our arms we will continue
in the crisp of the autumnal queue.

When the waters run clear, My Dear
Upon the early dawn's frontier.

OctPoWriMo Day 23: To Start Anew (Kyrielle Sonnet)

Phrase prompts:

Another chapter begins…
Turn the page….
And then there was….
I begin again….
And then there was….
Now it is time to write….

Poetry Prompt: Kyrielle Sonnet (form is AabB, ccbB, ddbB, AB -or- AbaB, cbcB, dbdB, AB). I tried the first form. It is a new form and writing about the now. It is cold and VERY windy here. The muse is slightly influenced by that. Enjoy, Dear Readers!

OctPoWriMo Blog Hop is here. Come and sit a spell...

To Start Anew

From MorgueFile
This is a new day to create
Under skies the colour of slate.
Birth of a notion that flowers,
to take root in minds of authors.

Another chapter to become
like the flora that grow lithesome
a story germinates and stirs
to take root in minds of authors.

Like all before me, I begin
to write the words I find therein
in this new time that answers
to take root in minds of authors.

This is a new day to create
under skies the colour of slate.
